Norco Hillside Haven

This 500 sq. ft. ADU, paired with a matching 500 sq. ft. garage, was thoughtfully built on a hillside lot in Norco, California—a location that added complexity (and excitement!) to the build, including the use of a crane to install the roof trusses. Designed as a one-bedroom, one-bath living space with dual mini splits for year-round comfort, this unit was created for a client who sold her Orange County home to invest in something closer to family while still maintaining her independence.

Every inch of this space was customized, managed, and built out by our team—from site prep to finish selection to final walkthrough. We worked closely with our client to ensure her new home felt peaceful, private, and personal—all within walking distance of her daughter’s home.

From foundation to finishes, the project took 8 months to complete, transforming an empty slope into a cozy, modern retreat that perfectly balances connection and autonomy.
